Product Overview

SporeQuell® is a peroxyacetic acid-based microbiocide developed for bacteria, fungi, slime and odor control in fruit and vegetables, process water systems and agricultural water treatment systems. SporeQuell provides microbial control for agricultural water systems in foliar, soil, drip irrigation and greenhouses structures.

It suppresses, controls and prevents the following (non-pathogenic): alternaria, angular leaf spot, anthracnose, bacterial blotch, bacterial speck, bacterial spot, black rot, blights, blue mold, botrytis, brown rot, citrus canker cladosporium, crown rot, downey mildew, early blight, fruit rot, fusarium, gray leaf spot, gummy stem blight leaf blight, leaf rust, leaf spot, mycogene, necrotic spot, phytophthora, potato brown rot, powdery mildew pythium, rhizoctonia, rust, scab, sclerotina, shot hole, sooty mold, stem rot, trichoderma, verticillum and white mold.

How does it work?

SporeQuell works by surface contact with the plants and materials being treated. Its active ingredient uses an oxidation chemical reaction to control bacteria, fungus and spores. SporeQuell reacts with the enzymes and proteins that make up simple cell organisms and controls them on-contact. Contact activity occurs rapidly within minutes of application.
