Calexin®
Apply Calexin® liquid calcium fertilizer to achieve uniform ripening, stronger fruit, improved calcium uptake, and enhanced natural color.
Overview
Calexin® is a liquid, translaminar calcium fertilizer designed to supplement crop nutrition during natural ripening and coloring stages. With 2% calcium derived from neutralized calcium carbonate, Calexin® strengthens cell walls and plant tissues, improving firmness, peel quality, and fruit resilience at harvest.
This specialty formulation is enriched with Miller’s patented Nutrient Express® Technology, which enhances systemic mobility through both the xylem and phloem. By improving calcium delivery to fruit tissues, Calexin® helps support uniform ripening, natural color development, and crop quality during periods of stress.

How Does Calexin® Liquid Calcium Fertilizer Work?
During periods of rapid growth, fruit development, and ripening, fruit crops require both energy and elevated levels of calcium to achieve optimal quality. Calcium is critical for carbohydrate translocation, enzymatic activation, and strengthening cell walls that protect against stress and disease.
Physiological or environmental stress can slow metabolism and disrupt natural ripening, leading to fruit with poor firmness, weak peel tissue, and reduced marketability. Calexin® is phloem-mobile and xylem-mobile, helping calcium to move efficiently into developing fruit. The increased calcium mobilization then supports carbohydrate transport, tissue integrity, and natural color development, resulting in firmer, more uniform fruit at harvest.
